Don’t try to convince Paul Stanley that the Las Vegas Outlaws and LA KISS are a rivalry. At least not yet. The guitarist of the band known for face paint and long tongues (and now a co-owner of an Arena Football team) doesn’t like the idea of these two young AFL teams becoming rivals just because of each owner’s status.

It’s here: the “Rock Star Rivalry” of Sports has arrived in Las Vegas! The long-awaited Arena Football home-game between The Outlaws and the L.A. Kiss will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center tonight, and with it comes a trio of legendary musicians that make up the rivalry itself: Vince Neil of Motley Crue, and Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS.
