The Tampa Bay Storm (7-9, 2-3) were defeated by the San Antonio Talons (9-7, 2-2) Saturday evening at the Alamodome, by a score of 42-68. The game saw Storm receiver Joe Hills break two Storm single-season records; points scored and receiving touchdowns.

The 2012 Central Division Champion San Antonio Talons (9-7) emerged victorious against the Tampa Bay Storm (7-9) on Saturday night at the Alamodome with a score of 68-42 in front of a crowd of 8,576. Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Game Rohan Davey had a standout performance, going 21-31 for 313 yards and 8 touchdowns. Storm counterpart Randy Hippeard was 13-33 for 246 yards and 4 touchdowns on the night.
