Valor Game Preview: Beltway Battle Part Two

The Washington Valor (0-4) continue their home stand this weekend, hosting the Baltimore Brigade (3-1) inside of Capital One Arena at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19th. The game will broadcast live on Monumental Sports Network and Facebook. These two teams last met April 13th, 2018.
A new look in Washington, the Valor made a coaching change this week and now we see interim Head Coach Benji McDowell stepping in at the position. Washington looked much better offensively last weekend against the Albany Empire but still could not score in the third quarter, a big part of their losing skid. Might this fresh change in the district be enough to spark the offense to finally get their first win of the season?
Reigning AFL MVP Randy Hippeard and the Baltimore Brigade might have other plans. They currently sit atop the league standings as we step into Week 6, and after handing the Philadelphia Soul a brutal 31-21 loss in Charm City a few weeks ago, both teams received a much needed bye week. Hippeard was good for seven touchdowns when he last saw the Valor and with Washington weak at secondary this time, it could be a long afternoon.
