Former New York Dragon Mike Horacek was on one knee in the end zone with his hands pointed up, his touchdown having given the Brigade a three-point lead with 1 minute and 29 seconds left. After being traded away by the Dragons because of contract dispute, catching the winning touchdown was a storybook ending for Horacek. And much like a dream, it was over in 67 seconds.

On the Brigadeís first offensive play of the new season, new receiver Mike Horacek did what heís done his entire Arena Football League career ó go deep. And while that throw from quarterback John Fitzgerald was a bit too far in front of him, Horacek caught seven passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns in his Brigade debut, a 51-49 loss to Tampa Bay.
