>>Bloomington now joins teams that have well established national identities including the Iowa Barnstormers and the Arizona Rattlers among others.

“This is essentially a move from AA to AAA, and reflects the recent success we’ve had on the field,” Edge owner and CEO Omar Khokhar said. “We have several top-notch rivals within our geographic footprint, and the IFL digital platform has a reach that is very attractive to our business partners and will help continue to grow our brand.”<<

Totally agree this is a move up in league level I'd call it single A to AAA/AA; but directionally the similar. I hope they can thrive in the IFL.

Quad Cities is in the CIF not the IFL

Omar Khokhar needs to figure how to get his attendance above triple digits and not the "level" his team plays in.

good thing he's playing for free this year

Quad Cities is one of the larger small markets. I'd like to see them move to the IFL in 2019.

Edge-Barnstormers could be a nice rivalry.

I would think West Michigan and Green Bay could be a regional rivalry as well, in IFL terms.
