What happened to Portland and Idaho?

The same thing that happened to Butera's Mexican/Texas teams.

We don't know if that's actually the case or not... maybe they join if Colorado has a buyer or if Tucson gets off the ground... Butera's Tex-Mex division didn't get off the ground... it seems like that was almost all Bouchy anyways....

Close. Spokane folding meant a nice long bus ride to *maybe* Colorado is your closest road trip? Perhaps these ownerships saw that if Spokane can't make it out on the island that was left once Tri-cities folded, they probably couldn't build a fan base from (basically) scratch and do very well.

Diamondthief we will see who is right at the end of the day. I will go with my research and you can go with yours. No big deal.

All I do know for a fact is a lot of people on this message board had pegged the IFL for taking the leap towards competing with the AFL. The league now is #3 or maybe #4 depending on how NAL shakes out this offseason.

That assumes the AFL is #1. The majority of those with whom I've spoken feel it is not. Quite frankly, the AFL is dying, and Butera is its Grim Reaper.

The departures of some teams hurt the IFL, but the additions of Bloomington and West Michigan are a bit of a boost.
