The Rattlers are focused on playing the Barnstormers with their full squad, led by quarterback Nick Davila and wide receiver Maurice Purify.

Purify was held out this week with what Guy called a lower body injury. He said earlier in the week it would be a game-time decision with Purify, among the league's most productive receivers with 95 catches for 1,524 yards and 39 touchdowns. But later in the week, Guy texted that it looked like Purify would play.

Rattlers quarterback Nick Davila was near perfect, completing 24 of 29 passes for 336 yards and seven touchdowns. And he didn't need 6-foot-3, 225-pound Maurice Purify on the receiving end. Purify, an Arena Football League MVP candidate, was on crutches with a lower leg injury suffered in last week's win over Pittsburgh.

But he wasn't on the injury list or nothing said in the game report with Pitt! Guy's texting skills suck saying Purify would play!!

For the second consecutive game, the Rattlers will be without star receiver Maurice Purify, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery June 7.
