Conservatively in the 2.6 to 3.2 million is my understanding.

That seems fairly high, considering the salaries are officially in the $400-500k a year range now for the team for the year. I guess in the 2000's it must have been around $5-6 million a team?

It is pretty accurate as well. Player salaries just one of the many pieces of the expense pie.

Equipment, Staff, INSURANCE!!, League Dues (don't forget paying for a team each year as well as league staff), Travel, Hotel, game day staff, rent for office, rent for arena, rent for practice facility, etc...

Think of this. Butera makes $1M a year. There are now only 7 teams that are paying in. So $143k per team just for him. Not to mention the other dozen staffers at the league level, their travel expenses, etc. yes there are almost double the number of staff at league level as there are teams.

True, the budgets this year for only 7 owned teams is going to be very high to float the league office. I mean, the league office pretty much is the same no matter what really, whether there are 19 teams, or 7. Obviously, they are probably trying to run the league office very lean this year, other than making the push for the new owners.
