Just curious with the AFL making its expansion to China whether the league maybe should look to become part of the IFAF.
The IFAF is the international organization that sponsors US gridiron football in different countries around the world and have multiple divisions.
everything from Senior Mens World Cahampionship that will be played in 2015 and is played every 4 years.
Also a U19 division every two years, the annual Interntional bowl US vs the WorldU19.
Women's division, Flag Football, and so on.

With a lot of Hockey rinks in Europe Arena Football has an infrastructure to expand. Canada as well.

The 2017 World Championships in Poland will have US football as an exhibition sport. As far as I know it is the first time that US Gridiron football will be involved in such a World event?

Any thoughts???

Not really. we have discussed the US and the IFAF gridiron Sr mens world Championships every 4 years.
This will mark the first time that gridiron football will be part of any type of multi sport World games.
The IFAF runs the European and Asian Championships much like FIBA or FIFA run for their respective Euro sports for qualifications in World Championships.
US football usually takes care of all of the IFAF football events for the US. With the Sr mens team usually made up of recent college grads who are not going on to play in any of the 3 pro leagues in North America.

Not sure they would enter a SR mens team in something like the World Championships.
Just thought of the AFL putting together a team from the league to represent the US in a outdoor US football event.
