Atlantic City Blackjacks Assigned Five Additional Players

ATLANTIC CITY- The Atlantic City Blackjacks announce that five players have been assigned to the team roster on the eighth day of free agency. Per League and team rules, terms are not disclosed. The free agency signing period for the Arena Football League began on Monday, March 4.
Antwane Grant, Wide Receiver
Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Grant attended Western Kentucky University. There he racked up 509 yards on 41 catches with 6 touchdowns in 10 games. Grant also played for the Cincinnati Bengals, appearing in 3 games. After his time in the NFL, Grant played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2017. During his time there he appeared in 5 games making 7 receptions for 107 yards.
Voghens Larrieux, Offensive Line
Larrieux is from New London, Connecticut and played college football for Coastal Carolina University. During his enrollment there he was named First Team All-Big South, named to the 2015-2016 Big South Presidential Honor Roll and totaled 41 games. In 2017 he was drafted by the Buffalo Bills and got an invite to their camp. In 2019 he played for the Atlanta Legends in the Alliance of American Football League.
Marvin Ross, Defensive Back
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Marvin Ross attended Florida A&M University from 2009-2012. There, he racked up a career total of 113 tackles and 14 pass breakups. Ross then joined the Columbus Lions in 2013 and was a member of the 2015 Professional Indoor Football League Cup winning team. In 2016, Ross moved to the Arena Football League with the Cleveland Gladiators where he was named AFL Rookie of the Year with 84 tackles and 24 pass breakups. The following season he joined the National Arena League as a member of the Jacksonville Sharks and appeared in six games and was a First Team All-NAL. After he was release from the CFL in 2017, he returned to the Sharks and was again selected for the First Team All-NAL with 47 tackled and 19 pass breakups.
Ross felt as the Blackjacks were the best fit based on location, scheme and overall vision of the team.

Rashad Still, Wide Receiver
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Still went to the University of Minnesota. There he played in three seasons totaling 38 receptions for 611 yards and 3 touchdowns. “I feel this was a good choice to make based on the style of play and the atmosphere was definitely appealing.” Rashad said.
Trey Wafford, Defensive Back
Growing up in Fayetteville, Georgia, Trey Wafford left to play football for Middle Tennessee State in 2014 and 2015. During his time, he totaled 110 tackles, 73 of them being solo. He also added 3 sacks and recovered 2 fumbles. After his college days, Wafford was named the 2017 IFL Defensive Rookie of the Year as a DB. After his rookie campaign, he finished with 129 tackles, six for loss and 12 pass breakups. That season he helped the Nebraska Danger to their fifth Conference Championship game. In 2018 he played for the Sioux Falls Storm and was named a First Team All-IFL as a DB.
The Atlantic City Blackjacks’ inaugural campaign will begin on the road on Saturday, April 27th against the three-time League champions, Philadelphia Soul, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Kickoff time will be announced at a later date. The Blackjacks will play their first ever home game at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, May 4 against the Columbus Destroyers.
