Fan contest, new merchandise, Chesapeake Bay Foundation and more highlight the celebration

BALTIMORE, MD – The league-leading Baltimore Brigade will host “Maryland Night” this Saturday, June 23 when the team hosts the Albany Empire at 7:30 p.m. at Royal Farms Arena. The night will feature promotions and activities throughout the game celebrating the Brigade’s home state as the team looks to close out their regular season home schedule with a perfect 6-0 record.

On the field, around the arena concourse and on the jumbotron, the Brigade will pay tribute to the state of Maryland and everything that makes it unique. Below are some of the promotions and activities planned for the night:

  • Fans are encouraged to show their pride by dressing in their most outrageous Maryland-themed outfits. By game’s end, a winner will be named and receive a Brigade prize pack.
  • A brand-new, Maryland-themed Brigade shirt will be available at the merchandise stand. A photo of the shirt is attached to this release.
  • Player videos, on-field games, the #BMORE Fun Zone and other elements throughout the game will celebrate the state of Maryland.
  • The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, who partnered with the Brigade on a service project earlier this season, will be in attendance, conducting an interactive, kid-friendly tank demonstration illustrating the importance of protecting the Chesapeake Bay.
