Albany Empire Inaugural Game Single Game Tickets on Sale

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Empire Arena Football Team has announced that individual tickets to the historic inaugural game will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, February 28 at 12 pm. Tickets for the April 14 matchup vs defending AFL champions, the Philadelphia Soul, can be purchased online, over the phone or in person.

The Albany Empire offers a variety of seats ranging from the field level to the upper bowl. Each seat offers a unique experience for fans, with an up close and personal view at a great value.

“The moment the Capital Region has been waiting for has finally arrived! Individual game tickets for our inaugural season home opener are now available, so get your seats while they last!” said George Manias, Vice President of Business Operations for The Albany Empire. “With tickets as low as $15, we want to give fans an affordable opportunity to enjoy the fast-paced entertaining action of arena football, while witnessing history.”

In addition to the re-launch of the Arena Football block parties, presented by Miller Lite and Heineken, the Empire will pay tribute to the Albany Firebirds, the last AFL team to have been housed in the Times Union Center, by raising their 1999 ArenaBowl Championship banner. Former Firebird, “Touchdown” Eddie Brown will be honored by having his number (17) retired as part of the pre-game festivities. More details and special events surrounding the inaugural game will be announced as the date gets closer.
