Storm Adds Defensive Back Gorman

Tampa Bay Storm acquires defensive back Jabari Gorman; Activates LaMark Brown and Cortez Stubbs
TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm has acquired rookie defensive back Jabari Gorman, announced vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch.
Gorman (5-foot-10, 185 lbs., Florida) joins the Storm for his rookie season in the Arena Football League. The Miami native spent four seasons at Florida, appearing in 49 games for the Gators. A standout defensively, Gorman finished his collegiate career with 116.0 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and three interceptions.
The former Gator has experience playing in various indoor football leagues. He also spent part of the 2017 season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
The team also activated wide receiver LaMark Brown and defensive back Cortez Stubbs.
Brown (6-foot-4, 225 lbs., Minnesota St. – Mankato) returns to the Storm after missing the past three games due to injury. Prior to being placed on injured reserve, Brown started in 9-of-9 games for the Storm, and was second on the team with 61 catches for 660 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Stubbs (5-foot-9, 180 lbs., Concordia) rejoins the Storm after suffering an injury during week three. The Birmingham, Alabama native started in 3-of-3 games played and recorded 24.5 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, three pass breakups and an interception.
The team placed defensive lineman Caesar Rayford on injured reserve.
The team reassigned wide receiver Kendal Thompkins, and offensive lineman Dave Lefotu.
