ORLANDO -- Tiger Jones has only been around the Arena Football League since 2008, but the argument could be made that he's been one of the best all-around pass catchers this league has ever had. With his fourth reception on Friday night, the Jacksonville Sharks' receiver moved into fifth place all-time in AFL history in receptions with 992.

Jones has put together an incredibly impressive resume, and at just 34-years old, he could reasonably reset the AFL record books for receivers by the time it's all said and done with. Jones has had at least 96 receptions in each of his last seven seasons and at least 114 catches in each of his last six. His worst year in terms of receiving yards was 2008 when he "only" managed 1,214, and he strung together three straight seasons of 2,000+ yards from 2011 through 2013.

Jones has also been a touchdown machine in his career. He's found the end zone a total of 278 times in his eight-year career, and he'll surely threaten the 300 touchdown mark by the time this year is said and done with.

Jones is also in sight of 1,000 career receptions, a mark which only four have reached in the AFL history. Every receiver who has ever had 900 receptions in this league either is a Hall of Famer or is sure to be one the first time his name comes up to be eligible for election. Jones will clearly not be an exception to that.
