 Former PIFL Kicker joins Sharks

JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville announced Wednesday that they have been assigned Kicker Lindsey Wolfe. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The signing addresses Jacksonville’s kicking need after Marco Capozzoli’s retirement and the release of kicker Jon Striefsky after week eight. Capozzoli finished his career as the Sharks’ all-time leader in field goals (24) and extra points (121.)

This Friday against Orlando will be Wolfe’s first career start in the arena football league after he spent time with the Columbus Lions in the Professional Indoor Football League. Bringing Wolfe on with be a major step in improving the Sharks special teams which has struggled throughout the 2016 season.

Wolfe (5’11, 200) played for the Columbus Lions of the Professional Indoor Football league (PIFL.) Before his time in the PIFL, Wolfe attended college at Fort Valley State.
