ORLANDO – November 24, 2015 – The Orlando Predators have agreed to terms with former NFL wide receiver LaVon Brazill, the franchise has announced.

Brazill (5-11, 195, Ohio) played two seasons for the Indianapolis Colts after being selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He hauled in 11 passes for 186 yards during his rookie season, including a 42-yard touchdown.

In his second NFL campaign, Brazill registered 12 catches for 161 yards and two scores during the regular season. He emerged in the postseason, posting 73 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to the Patriots during the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

“We have made it known to all players and NFL agents that if you want to get to or get back to the NFL, then Orlando is the place for you,” said Head Coach Rob Keefe. “We will continue to recruit talent that wants to make their dreams come true. LaVon is a player that is on a mission. He will instantly create problems for opposing defenses. We strive to bring in passionate players that want to achieve more and LaVon is the epitome of that.”

Brazill appeared in 41 games during his collegiate career at Ohio University, where he finished with 187 receptions for 2,515 yards and 18 touchdowns. As a senior in 2011, he earned second-team All-MAC honors after setting single-season school records with 1,146 receiving yards and 11 scores. Also a standout on special teams, Brazill earned All-America accolades after returning three punts for touchdowns during his sophomore campaign.
