SPOKANE, WA (February 23, 2015) – The Spokane Shock have been assigned defensive lineman Terrance Taylor to the 2015 roster.

Taylor (6-0, 320, Michigan) joins the Shock for his fifth season as a member of the Arena Football League in 2015. “We are extremely excited to add Terrance Taylor to our roster in 2015,” said Shock Head Coach Andy Olson. “Terrance has been a dominant defensive tackle in the AFL for years. He’s a player with both speed and power and we’re expecting big things from him this season.”

During the 2013 season, Taylor recorded 16 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one interception, eight quarterback hurries, and one forced fumble in 17 games with Spokane. In 2012 as a member of the Pittsburgh Power, Taylor registered 13.5 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, three quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

As a rookie in 2011, Taylor would start the season with the AFL’s Pittsburgh Power but would be traded to Spokane after playing in six games. During his time with the Power, Taylor recorded six total tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack and one quarterback hurry. Finishing 2011 with the Shock, Taylor would compete in seven contests on his way to recording 11 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one blocked kick.
Prior to joining the Arena Football League, Terrance was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round (136th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions.

During his collegiate career at the University of Michigan, Terrance was a part of a highly talented defensive line group for the Wolverines. He received Second-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2007 and Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors in 2008.
