Looking forward to a big season, Arenafan Radio shuffles hosts.
As a new season begins, new faces are in new places all across the league. The same can be said for Arenafan Radio. Starting Wednesday nights from 9-10:30pm, EST, new co-host Fran Stuchbury will join veteran Tim Capper in the broadcast booth on a new Internet radio network.
“FanCast allows our listeners to contact us via the Internet,” said new media director, Tom Ando. “I`m ecstatic about the guys we have hosting the show. This gives us the opportunity to bring the show to new levels. By the end of the 2002 arena football season, all our fans will tune into Arenafan Radio.”
Last year`s listeners might remember Ando as counterpart to Capper. Now entering his second season with the show, Capper confirmed that Ando is out of the booth, but not out of the equation. “He will continue to be a valuable asset to the team,” said the Montreal native. “I am sorry to lose Tom as my co-host, but I know he will be able to support us in great capacity as our new Media Director.”
New co-host, Stuchbury, has chatted with the likes of Jim Foster, David Baker, and Kurt Warner on the College of Staten Island show, ArenaZone.
“I was the original broadcaster on Arena Football a couple of years ago. Since then I`ve written articles on Arena Football, hoping some day to do radio again,” says Stuchbury. “It`s always been my first love. I`m thrilled to get this opportunity.”
The first show will air April 17th from 9-10:30pm EST. For more information about Arenafan Radio, please visit www.arenafan.com or contact Tom Ando at email@example.com
