Albany Empire Assigned Three on the Eighth Day of Free Agency

ALBANY, NY- The Albany Empire announce that three players have been assigned to the team roster on the eighth day of free agency. Per League and team rules, terms are not disclosed. The free agency signing period for the Arena Football League began on Monday, March 4.
Deniko Carter, Wide Receiver
Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, Deniko Carter played collegiately at the University of West Georgia after transferring from junior college. In his first year with the Wolves in 2015, Carter led the team with six touchdown receptions as a junior. Following college, Carter joined the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent for rookie minicamp. After a workout with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL, Carter most recently spent time in the AAF with the Atlanta Legends.
Juwan Offray, Defensive Back
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Juwan Offray started his collegiate career at Oklahoma State before transferring to Louisiana-Monroe for his final two seasons. As a Warhawk, Offray locked down opposing wide receivers, and added two interceptions and 15 passes defended between his junior and senior seasons in 2016 and 2017. Following college, Offray spent time with the Memphis Express of the AAF. Offray is looking forward to coming to Albany and taking his game to the next level in front of Albany’s electrifying fans.
Trae Tiller, Defensive Line
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Trae Tiller played collegiately at Southern University. As a member of the Jaguars, Tiller was part of a SWAC Conference championship team. After college, Tiller had workouts with the Arizona Cardinals and the San Diego Chargers. Following a draft camp, Tiller spent time with the San Antonio Talons and the Duke City Gladiators. Tiller was most recently a member of the Nebraska Danger of the IFL.
Derrick Dyer, defensive back, and Gio Pascascio, wide receiver, have been placed on Recallable Reassignment.
