Philadelphia's James Romain Named Defensive Back of the Year

Romain becomes the fourth Soul player to win the award
LAS VEGAS – The Arena Football League has announced that Philadelphia Soul defensive back James Romain has been named 2018 AFL Defensive Back of the Year. This marks the third straight year a Soul defensive back has won the award.
Romain (5’11, 175, Delaware State) started in all 12 games for the Soul this season and ranked tied for first in passes defended (19) and second in interceptions (4). The eight-year veteran tallied 54.0 total tackles as a member of a Soul defensive squad that had the best red zone defense in the League allowing opponents to score only 78% of the time.
