Soul Announce Regional Television Schedule for 2018 Season

Wednesday May 2, 2018

NBC Sports Philadelphia+ to Air Five Games Live

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The two-time defending champion Philadelphia Soul announce today the continuation of its partnership with NBC Sports Philadelphia. This will be the seventh consecutive season that Soul games will be featured on the regional sports network. During the 2018 season, five games will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Philadelphia+, formerly known as The Comcast Network.  Rebroadcasts of the games will also be available on NBC Sports Philadelphia, formerly Comcast SportsNet.

“We are proud to once again be bringing our exciting brand of sports entertainment to the fans in Philadelphia, on the network that’s synonymous with sports in Philadelphia,” said Soul Vice President, Business Operations, Marc Zamarin. “We’ll be introducing some new concepts, topics and elements this season that will appeal to long-time fans, and engage new fans, as well.”

The goal of the broadcast will be to immerse fans into the fast-paced game of arena football with multiple camera angles, along with real-time insight and interviews with players and coaches down on the field. Viewers can also expect commentary and updates meant to help fans become smarter, savvier consumers of the game as it relates to betting odds, trends, and in-game betting angles.

The talent in the broadcast booth returns for another season, and viewers will also welcome a third member to the team. Joe DeCamara, who will once again handle the broadcast play-by-play, has over 16 years of on-air experience in the Philadelphia market and is the current anchor of the mid-day sports radio show on SportsRadio 94WIP.

Lou Tilley, an 11-time Emmy Award winner in reporting, programming and production, will join Joe DeCamara as the color analyst. Another staple in the Philadelphia sports market, Tilley’s 30-plus year career highlights include producing and hosting the Maxwell Football Club’s annual awards, co-hosting “Nancy Kerrigan’s World of Skating” alongside the former Olympian, as well as numerous credits for producing, directing and anchoring sports content along the east coast.

The newest addition to the broadcast is on-field reporter Adam Caplan. Caplan, an NFL Insider and current radio host on SiriusXM, has been a fixture in Philadelphia sports media for much of the last decade. He has previously co-hosted the pre and post-game shows for the Eagles Radio Network, contributed to Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia during the NFL season, and hosted “Friday Football Hour” on 97.5 FM “The Fanatic” for the last five NFL seasons.

The broadcast trio will make their season debut together on Friday, May 4th against the Baltimore Brigade at 7:00 p.m. The full broadcast schedule is as follows:
