Soul Welcomes Hayes and Fowler

 DL Robert Hayes and WR Michael Fowler join the Soul roster in time for training camp

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Soul today announce that the following players have been assigned to the 2018 roster by the Arena Football League: Robert Hayes (DL) and Michael Fowler (WR).

In 2017, Hayes received Second Team All-Arena Honors during his time with the Baltimore Brigade. He also had stints with the Portland Thunder and Portland Steel. This will be Hayes’ fourth AFL season and first season with the Soul. Hayes attended Shepherd University and is a native of Sterling, VA.

Fowler participated in a Soul open tryout this year and caught the attention of Soul General Manager and Assistant Head Coach Phil Bogle. He attended Delaware Valley University and this will be his rookie AFL season.

“We have two more great additions to the team today,” said Soul Head Coach Clint Dolezel. “We are looking forward to seeing what these players can bring to training camp this week.”
