Tampa Bay reacquires offensive lineman Tyler Moore and defensive back Seth Williams
TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce it has reacquired offensive lineman Tyler Moore and defensive back Seth Williams.
Moore (6-foot-6, 325 lbs., Florida) rejoins the Storm for his second season with the team. The Countryside H.S. (Clearwater, FL) product joined the team midway through the 2015 season. He’s started in 4-of-6 games for Tampa Bay at multiple positions on the offensive line.
The second-year veteran played collegiately at Nebraska before transferring to Florida, where he started in 14-of-19 games for the Gators.
Williams (5-foot-11, 190 lbs., Richmond) joins the Storm for his second season in the Arena Football League. The Fayetteville, NC native spent part of the 2015 season with the New Orleans VooDoo, starting in 4-of-4 games and collecting 17.0 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass breakup. He participated in training camp with the Storm earlier this season.
Williams began his professional career with the New York Giants of the National Football League in 2010 when he signed with a team as an undrafted rookie free agent. He would then sign with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League in 2011, spending three seasons with the team before moving on to the Ottawa Redblacks in 2014. For his CFL career, Williams has recorded 118.0 total tackles and two interceptions.
