Gladiators announce 2016 broadcast schedule

 Tony Brown to serve as play-by-play broadcaster with “Bull & Fox” contributing to radio and TV broadcasts on 92.3 The Fan, Sports Time Ohio & Fox Sports Ohio.

CLEVELAND
– In advance of this Friday’s Home Opener at The Q vs. the Philadelphia Soul, the Cleveland Gladiators announced Tuesday that each of the team’s 2016 regular-season AFL games, and all Postseason action, will be broadcast live on the radio on 92.3 The Fan and will stream live on 923TheFan.com with multiple games simulcast on television on Sports Time Ohio and Fox Sports Ohio.

Tony Brown will call the play-by-play action in his first season as the “Voice of the Gladiators,” while former Ohio State Buckeye and NFL defensive back Dustin Fox will serve as color commentator for all home games. Adam the Bull, the host of 92.3 The Fan’s “Bull & Fox,” will serve as the Gladiators’ fill-in broadcaster while Brown concludes the 2015-16 AHL season and Calder Cup Playoff run with Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters, while veteran Northeast Ohio sports voice Kenny Roda will return as the on-field reporter for all Gladiators television broadcasts in 2016.

In addition to the Gladiators’ Week Two matchup vs. the Tampa Bay Storm on April 9th, broadcast on Sports Time Ohio, and Cleveland’s June 3rd Week Ten clash vs. the Arizona Rattlers, broadcast on Fox Sports Ohio, four Gladiators games will be carried nationally on CBS Sports Network and two Gladiators games will be carried live on ESPN 2 this season. The Gladiators’ 2016 AFL season begins Friday, April 1st at Quicken Loans Arena vs. the Philadelphia Soul at 7:00 pm. The Cleveland Gladiators are part of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert. The group also owns and operates the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League playing at Quicken Loans Arena and the Canton Charge of the NBA Development League playing in nearby Canton, Ohio at the Canton Civic Center.
