Offensive lineman Ben Ossai returns to the Tampa Bay Storm

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm has acquired veteran offensive lineman Ben Ossai, announced Storm Vice President of Football Operations Jeff Gooch.

“It’s a pleasure to have Ben back with us this season,” said Gooch. “He was with the team in 2015 and understands the system. We look forward to seeing him compete in camp.”

Ossai (6-foot-6, 330 lbs., Washington) joins the Storm for his second season in the blue and gold. The five-year veteran began his AFL career with the Spokane Shock in 2011. He would go on to spend part of the 2012 and 2013 Canadian Football League seasons with the BC Lions. Ossai started in 16-of-17 games at multiple positions on the offensive line in 2015. The Bakersfield, CA native began his professional career in the National Football League with the St. Louis Rams in 2010.
