Orlando Predators Announce 2016 Training Camp

 Season Ticket Holder Kickoff Party Slated for Saturday, March 19

ORLANDO
– Mar. 2, 2015 – In preparation for the 2016 Arena Football League season, Orlando Predators 2016 Training Camp presented by Insight Credit Union will officially begin on Wednesday, March 9. The two-week camp will conclude with the commencement of the regular seas​on on Friday, March 25.

Fans will have the opportunity to get a first look at the 2016 Orlando Predators during the team’s Season Ticket Holder Kickoff Party on Saturday, March 19, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thunder Field at the Orlando Citrus Bowl (1610 West Church Street, Orlando, FL 32805) The event is open to the public and will feature a live inter-squad scrimmage as well as a post-practice autograph session, food and drink, an inflatable bounce house, and additional entertainment.

The first day of camp will be reserved for player entrance physicals and introductory meetings, followed by two days of non-padded practices. Full padded practices will begin four days into camp on Saturday, March 12.

Per Arena Football League regulations, the Predators will enter training camp with a 35-man roster. The team is required to reduce its roster to 28 players during its first round of cuts on Friday, March 18. Camp will conclude with a second round of cuts on Friday, March 25 as the team gets down to its final 24-man regular season roster.

All training camp dates are closed to the public with exception to the Season Ticket Holder Kickoff Party on Saturday, March 19.

The Orlando Predators 2016 home opener against the Portland Steel is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the Amway Center. Tickets are available for purchase by calling 407-355-2200 or online at OrlandoPredators.com.
