Wayne Tribue returns to Soul

PHILADELPHIA- The Arena Football League announced today that the Philadelphia Soul have acquired OL Wayne Tribue. Tribue (6’3, 330, Temple), a third-year veteran, was a member of the 2014 Soul roster before joining the Jacksonville Sharks’ roster last season.
“Having a player like Wayne back on our roster is very exciting,” says Soul General Manager Phil Bogle. “He can adapt quickly to our playing style and will be a great leader both on and off the field.”
Tribue, a Pennsylvania native, was part of a dynamic Soul offensive line that allowed fewest sacks in the League (7) and was selected to Second-Team All-Arena in 2014. This past season he started in six of seven games played with the Sharks was a member of an offensive line that allowed fewest sacks in a season (8).
Tribue played in all 12 games with nine starts at left guard for Temple University in 2008 and received more starts than any other freshman. In 2009, he played in 13 games with five starts and was awarded MVP as well as Most Improved Player. He played in 11 games with four starts at left guard and two starts at center in 2010. During his senior year in 2011, he appeared in all 13 games at right guard and was one of nine to start every game. His high-school career at Central York High School, York, PA included earning All-Metro second team All-State and first-team offensive tackle team All-County.
