McCullough Returns To The Storm

 Storm offensive lineman Alfred McCullough returns to Tampa

TAMPA BAY – Offensive lineman Alfred McCullough has returned to the Tampa Bay Storm, announced team Vice President of Football Operations Jeff Gooch.

“Alfred is one of the leaders of this team,” said Gooch. “He has been a consistent force on the offensive line and has proven to be one of the top linemen in the Arena Football League. We are pleased to have him back here in Tampa.”

McCullough (6-foot-2, 330 lbs., Alabama) begins his fourth season in the Arena Football League with the Storm. The three-year veteran began his AFL career in 2013 with Tampa Bay and has been a staple of the team’s offensive line his entire career.

The Athens, Alabama native has proven to be one of the most durable offensive linemen in the League, starting in 50-of-50 games played. He would also go on to start in 47 consecutive games played dating back to the 2013 season. For his career, McCullough has caught six passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

The two-time national champion (2009 and 2011) began his professional career as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League in 2012.
