Monday March 16, 2015

3/15/2015: The Los Angeles Kiss acquire Ronnell (The Hammer) Lewis (6-3, 260, Oklahoma) in a trade with the Spokane Shock. Lewis starts his inaugural season in the Arena football league after being a 4th round pick (125th overall) by the Detroit Lions in the 2012 NFL draft. Lewis played in 8 games for the Lions. He was a standout defensive end/linebacker for the Sooners. He recorded 118 tackles, 10 sacks, three fumble recoveries, and two interceptions. He earned First Team All-Big 12 honors in 2011. Lewis who is known for his big hits and playmaking ability looks to be a great addition to a newly revamped LA KISS team.
