VooDoo Make Roster Moves

Tuesday March 10, 2015

NEW ORLEANS - In anticipation for the 2015 season the New Orleans VooDoo made four more personnel moves on Tuesday evening with three additions and one subtraction.

Joining the team are wide receiver Chris Duvalt, linebacker Roosevelt Falls, and defensive back Justin Hannah. Quarterback Brian Hudson was placed on reassignment, leaving Adam Kennedy, Brendon Kay and Brian Reader battling to make the roster at quarterback.

Duvalt (5’10, 175 - Illinois) returns to New Orleans for the fourth straight season. Last season Duvalt appeared in a pair of games for the VooDoo and had 11 catches for 122 yards, and a pair of touchdowns. Originally starting with Orlando in 2011, Duvalt has a career totals of 45 catches for 457 yards and eight touchdowns.

Falls (6’1, 230 - Louisiana Tech) comes to camp looking to make an impact at linebacker for the VooDoo after playing last season for the New Mexico Stars in the CIF. Previous AFL experience includes a stint with the Utah Blaze in 2012, where Falls started two of the three games he played, and totaled seven tackles with a pass broken up.

Justin Hannah (5’10, 190 - Tuskegee) adds three years of AFL experience to the competition at defensive back. Returning to the VooDoo for his second straight season, Hannah played in seven games last season making six starts. Fifth on the team in tackles, Hannah was credited with 38.5 stops, five passes broken up and a forced fumble. Hannah’s best season came in 2012, when he had 55.5 total tackles, 11 passes broken up and 2 INTs playing for both Milwaukee and Orlando.

TRANSACTIONS - VooDoo add WR Chris Duvalt, LB Roosevelt Falls and DB Justin Hannah. VooDoo place on assignment QB Brian Hudson.
