Orlando Predators Announce 2015 Training Camp Schedule

 Preds to Open 2015 Training Camp on Friday, March 6

ORLANDO – Mar. 2, 2015 – The Orlando Predators announced Monday that the team will open Training Camp on Friday, March 6 in preparation for the 2015 Arena Football League season. The two-week camp will conclude on Sunday, March 22.

Fans will have the opportunity to see the 2015 Predators for the first time at the Citrus Bowl (Thunder Field) during the team’s Season Ticket Pick-Up Party on Saturday, March 14, beginning at 10:00am. The event is open to the public and will feature a live intrasquad scrimmage as well as a post-practice autograph session, food and drink, and additional entertainment.

While the first three days of camp will be reserved for player entrance physicals and introductory meetings, Orlando will take the field for its first non-padded practice on Monday, March 9. The team’s first fully padded practice will take place on Wednesday, March 11.

Per Arena Football League regulations, the Predators will enter training camp with a 35-man roster. The team is required to reduce its roster to 28 players during its first round of cuts on Sunday, March 15. Camp will conclude with a second round of cuts on Sunday, March 22 as the team gets down to its final 24-man regular season roster.

All training camp dates are closed to the public with exception to the Season Ticket Pick-Up Party on Saturday, March 14. Select practice dates are open to the media.

The Orlando Predators 2015 season opener against the Philadelphia Soul is scheduled for 7:00pm on Sunday, March 29 at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando.
