Director of Player Personnel earns opportunity in NFL
JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sharks announced Tuesday that Director of Player Personnel Pat O’Hara will leave the organization in order to pursue an opportunity with the National Football League’s Houston Texans.
“I would like to thank Pat for his services during the short time that he was here,” Sharks head coach Les Moss said. “He has been a friend of mine for the past 20 years, and I wish him nothing but the best in what is a tremendous opportunity for him and his family.”
“I want to thank Coach Moss and the Sharks organization for bringing me on to the Jacksonville staff,’ O’Hara said. “I am so grateful for these past couple of months, and it’s bittersweet because of the team that has been assembled. I can’t think of another organization or head coach in the AFL that I would want to work for, and I’m humbled and thankful for everything.”
O’Hara joined the Sharks’ front office as Director of Player Personnel in October of 2014. Prior to his time with the Sharks, O’Hara enjoyed a lengthy Arena Football League career that included multiple ArenaBowl championships as a player, as well as stints as head coach of the New Orleans VooDoo and Orlando Predators.
