Rising Star Back in Soul Secondary in 2015

PHILADELPHIA (December 1, 2014) – The Philadelphia Soul have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with third-year defensive back, James Romain (5’11, 175, Delaware State). Romain becomes the 12th player from last year’s team to officially return for the 2015 season.

“James is an outstanding talent and we are happy to have him back,” said Soul head coach Clint Dolezel. “He is a rising star in this league and is an important part of our secondary as we continue to put our foundation together for a championship run.”

In his rookie season in 2013, James recorded 42.5 total tackles, 19 pass breakups and three forced fumbles in 15 games. He also added three interceptions and returned one for a touchdown as well as adding a kickoff return for a touchdown.
