ORLANDO – The Orlando Predators have agreed to terms with veteran wide receiver Julian Williams, the franchise announced Friday via Arena Football League transactions. Williams arrives in Orlando after completing his rookie season with the Iowa Barnstormers in 2014.

“Julian is a terrific athlete and still has a lot of room to grow,” said General Manager of Football Operations Michael DiJulio. “He gained a lot of positive experience in his first season and is on the verge of becoming a great receiver. I’m excited to see him take that next step as he continues to develop.”

Williams (6-1, 190, Marian) hauled in 71 passes for 690 yards and eight touchdowns with the Barnstormers in 2014. He also served as the team’s primary kickoff returner, adding 502 yards on 34 kickoffs.

Williams attended Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a senior in 2011, he earned All-Mid-States Football Association First-Team accolades after hauling in 62 receptions for 941 yards and seven touchdowns.
