Tampa Bay acquires offensive lineman Ricky Barnum

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce the acquisition of rookie offensive lineman Ricky Barnum.

“Ricky brings added depth to the offensive line,” said Storm vice president of football operations, Jeff Gooch. “He has experience at the NFL level which will benefit the team as we look to help protect the quarterback.”

Barnum (6-foot-3, 296 lbs., Michigan) played four seasons with the Wolverines, starting in 16-of-22 games. He can play multiple positions on the offensive line including left tackle, right tackle and right guard. Barnum started in all 13 games in his senior season for the Wolverines.

The Lakeland native began his professional career in the National Football League, and was most recently in training camp with the Washington Redskins.
