Shock Announce 2014 Radio Talent

Keith Osso, Larry Weir pair up in the Shock radio booth
SPOKANE, WA (February 19, 2014) – The Spokane Shock have announced the pair of Keith Osso and Larry Weir as the radio team for the 2014 season. Osso will be serving as the team’s color analyst while Weir will provide play-by-play, taking the place of former Shock radio host Dennis Patchin, who has moved on to take more expansive responsibilities within KXLY's TV broadcast team.
Osso has been in the Shock booth since the teams move to the AFL in 2010, while Weir brings four years of experience covering the Shock during their time in af2.
In addition to gameday coverage, Osso will also be hosting the weekly Shock Coach’s Show. The first show is schedule for Tuesday, March 4th at 6 p.m. on 700 ESPN AM Radio.

About Keith Osso
Keith is the Sports Director at KXLY-TV and co-host of Patchin, Lukens, and Osso on 700 ESPN. Keith began his broadcast career at KXLY4 News in May of 2003. Keith is a Spokane native and proud East Valley grad.
Keith joined Dennis Patchin in the booth as the color commentator for the Spokane Shock on 700 ESPN in 2010. In 2012 Keith joined the Eastern Washington University football broadcast team on 700 ESPN where he began working with Larry Weir. Keith serves as the sideline reporter and host of the Eagle tailgate show.
In his free time you can find Keith spending time with his wife Tonya, daughter Skylar, and his parents Bryan and Cindy.
About Larry Weir
Larry is a veteran sports broadcaster with over 30 years of experience with professional, collegiate, and high school sports. Previously he served as the play-by-play broadcaster with the Shock from 2006-2009 during the team’s af2 era.
From 1991 to the present Larry has spent time as the play-by-play broadcaster with Eastern Washington University football and men's basketball, with the exception of 2010-11 and 2011-12 basketball seasons. He has worked with Keith Osso previously as he has filled the role of EWU's sideline reporter and back-up analyst for football for two years.
Larry has also broadcast Northwest League baseball for the Spokane Indians and Yakima Bears and has been the lead broadcaster for the Greater Spokane League high school Game of the Week since 2011.
