Gladiators form multi-year partnership with All Pro Athletic Center in Lorain

The Cleveland Gladiators announced today that they have formed a new multi-year partnership with All Pro Athletic Center (APAC) in Lorain, Ohio, one of the premier athletic, training and performance facilities in the state. As part of this new agreement, APAC will serve as the new training camp and official practice facility site of the Arena Football League's Gladiators.

Training camp for the 2014 Gladiators season, led by Head Coach Steve Thonn, will begin on Thursday, February 20th, with full contact practices beginning on Saturday, February 22nd. The official team Media Day will be held at APAC on Monday, February 24th.

APAC will provide the Gladiators a state-of-the art, full-service training, practice, performance and workout facility housed entirely in one 30 acre campus location. The Gladiators main training facility will be the indoor field house which will provide over 70,000 square feet of practice space. There is also a 35,000 square foot accompanying multi-purpose center that will house the Gladiators locker rooms, training rooms, equipment rooms, film rooms, kitchen and coaches’ offices. In addition, there are three outdoor football fields that will be available to the Gladiators for outdoor practices in the spring and summer.

The Cleveland Gladiators are part of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert. The group also owns and operates the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League playing at Quicken Loans Arena, as well as the Canton Charge of the NBA Development League playing in nearby Canton, Ohio at the Canton Civic Center.
