Media Day February 25; Season Ticket Pickup Day March 1

PORTLAND, OR – The Portland Thunder have set official dates and times for Media Day as well as Season Ticket Pickup Day. Both events will be held at the Tualatin Indoor Soccer Center.

Media Day will be held on Tuesday, February 25, the first day in pads for the team. It will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an open interview period after practice.

Season Ticket Pickup Day, a scrimmage open exclusively to season-ticket holders and the media, will be held on Saturday, March 1, from noon to 2 p.m., with a meet-and-greet taking place after the scrimmage. Season-ticket holders will also be able to pick up their season tickets at the event. Season-ticket holders who can’t make it to the event will have their tickets mailed to them the following Monday.

“As a staff, we’re excited to get those first passes, routes, and collisions of minicamp out of the way and get back into football,” said Head Coach Matthew Sauk. “We can’t wait to introduce our fans and the Portland area to Portland Thunder football. We’re bringing in a lot of talent and great people, both from nearby and nationally.”

The Portland Thunder will kick off its inaugural season at the Moda Center on Monday, March 17 at 7 p.m. when they take on the San Jose SaberCats. Season tickets are available for purchase starting as low as $99 by calling 503-773-4235 or by visiting www.portlandthunder.com.
