Shock Launch "9 Weeks for the 9th Man" Campaign

Nine week honor program begins Thursday
SPOKANE, WA (January 8, 2014) – Since the organization’s creation in 2006, the past eight seasons have positioned the Shock as one of the most successful sports franchise of any professional league in history. On the field Spokane has produced a staggering 130-39 overall record with three championships, the most recent being in 2010 in their first season as a member of the Arena Football League.
The 2014 season will mark the ninth season for the Spokane franchise since their inception in 2006 and in appreciation for the greatest fans in the AFL, the Shock will be hosting their “9 Weeks for the 9th Man” program in honor of the 9th Man.
Beginning Thursday, January 9th, 2014 the Shock will begin a nine week honor program for Shock fans and supporters which will include special prizes for participants in online trivia posts, special game experiences for season ticket holders, and school appearances by Shock players and dancers around our Greater Inland Northwest communities. Prizes include single-game ticket vouchers, authentic Shock game jerseys, and autographed footballs.
Trivia questions will be posted online through the Shock Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. Those who answer the trivia question correctly will be entered into a drawing to win the designated prize for that question.
Four game experience packages will be awarded to season tickets holders via a raffle system for those that have purchased their seats for the 2014 season. All four packages include up to four (4) participants and t-shirts.
Two “Game Day Experience” packages that complete the perfect game day for any diehard Shock fan will be awarded. These packages include a pre-game tour of Spokane Arena, a meal with the Shock team pre-game, and access to the field during team warm-ups.
One “Training Camp Experience” package that gives the fans an exclusive look at the Shock before the season begins will be awarded. This package includes special access to Shock Training Camp, the opportunity to talk with the coaches, an invitation to watch a private practice, a meal with the team after practice, and an autographed practice ball.
One “Game Ball Delivery” package will be awarded, giving the fans early access to the game, an invitation to watch pre-game warm-ups on the field, and the opportunity to deliver the game ball for the night’s game.
