ORLANDO – ArenaFan.com is proud to announce that staff writer and AFL Tonight Co-Host Adam Markowitz will be covering both of the AFL China All-Star Games in Honolulu, HI and Beijing, China on Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 10th, 2013.
“I’m proud to be able to represent ArenaFan, the Arena Football League and the entire brand of American football both in Hawaii and overseas in China,” said Markowitz. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get the chance to cover arguably one of the most important two-week periods in the history of the game that I love.”
All-stars from across the league have been chosen via fan vote through AFL China, and they will be involved in exhibition games held on November 2nd at the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu at 4:00 p.m. HAST (10:00 p.m. ET) and on November 10th at the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing at 2:00 p.m. CST (2:00 a.m. ET). The Arizona Rattlers and the Philadelphia Soul will be well-represented on the rosters. Rattlers’ Coach Kevin Guy will be leading his team led by his starting quarterback, Nick Davila. Opposing this team will be a club coached by Philadelphia's Clint Dolezel, who will have Dan Raudabaugh as his starting quarterback.
“Our whole group at AFL China and Ganlan Media International are very excited about the program we have developed to introduce professional Arena Football in China,” said AFL China president David Niu. “To support this endeavor, we will showcase the great sport of Arena Football through exciting exhibition games. We believe these will be groundbreaking and historic games that will be enjoyed by existing and new fans, both in the USA and China. Bring on November! We can’t wait to ‘Take it Inside’.”
Markowitz will be providing exclusive coverage of the two exhibition games, as some of the elite players in the AFL battle it out in Hawaii and in China. ArenaFan will be your home for pictures, videos, and stories for this entire trip.
ArenaFan is set to celebrate its 16th season of Arena Football League coverage.
