PITTSBURGH, PA (August 2, 2013) – Pittsburgh Power wide receivers Julian Talley (6’1”/190/UMass) and Kenny Stafford (6’2”/205/Toledo) have made NFL training camp rosters of the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins.
This is Talley’s second stint with the Giants, having first signed as an undrafted free agent in May of 2012. He will be reuniting once again with former college teammate and New Jersey native, Victor Cruz.
Talley joined the Power this past May and appeared in 10 games. He finished the season as the team's second receiver averaging 82.1 yards per game, 74 catches for 821 yards, and 17 touchdowns. Talley’s 15 receptions against New Orleans on June 29 was a team single game season-high, and on July 6 at Cleveland, he tied a Power franchise record with 5 touchdown receptions in a game.
Stafford appeared in just one game for the Power this season, before signing with the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes. Kenny grabbed 6 catches for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Power’s May 25 home win over Cleveland.
Stafford’s Miami signing marks his second appearance in an NFL training camp. He attended camp with the Atlanta Falcons in 2012.
