Orlando Predators derail Tampa Bay Storm , 55-48

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm (7-5, 2-2) saw veteran quarterback Aaron Garcia lead the Orlando Predators (3-8, 1-3) to a 55-48 win over the five-time Arena Football League champion Storm on the Amalie Motor Oil Field at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. The series now is tied 26-26 all-time.
The 42-year-old and 18-year veteran Garcia threw for six touchdowns, five of them to former Storm receiver Prechae Rodriguez.
Adrian McPherson threw for 7 touchdowns, three to Joe Hills, who also had 103 yards on 11 catches.
The Storm, trailing by 13 points early in the 4th quarter, rallied behind two touchdown catches by rookie receivers Jason Chery and Chris C. Davis.
With game tied at 48-48, Garcia connected with Rodriguez for 46 yards and a go-ahead score, 55-48.
The Tampa Bay Storm is on the road next week visiting the New Orleans Voo Doo. The game, Saturday, June 15, starting at 8 p.m. can be heard on 1250-AM WHNZ radio. The Voo Doo (2-9, 1-3) fell to the Philadelphia Soul, 65-56, Saturday.
