Philadelphia holds events to kick off 2013 season

 Soul Hosts Meet-and-Greet and Watch-Party

PHILADELPHIA (March 20, 2013) – The American Conference Philadelphia Soul will give fans and media members an opportunity to meet the team by inviting the fans to the Soul Meet-and-Greet and Soul Watch-Party in support of the Soul kicking-off their 2013 season.

The Meet-and-Greet will take place at the Holiday Inn – Stadium Sports Bar, located at 900 Packer Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19148, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 21. The fans and their families will have an opportunity to get photos and autographs from the Soul players, coaching staff, and watch a Soulmates’ performance.

The official Philadelphia Soul Watch-Party will be held at Dave and Buster’s, located at 325 N. Columbus Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19106, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. Every Soul fan will receive free parking, on a first-come, first-serve basis, and a Dave and Buster’s Power Card. Children are invited, however must be accompanied by an adult. Along with games and trivia, there will be appearances by the Soulmates, Soul Man, and Soul staff.

The Soul will play their season-opener in a rematch of ArenaBowl XXV against the Arizona Rattlers at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. The matchup is the AFL’s Game of the Week and will be televised live on CBS Sports Network.
