Rattlers add Lineman for 2013

 OL/DL Shirley Assigned to Arizona

Mesa, AZ - The Arizona Rattlers have been assigned the contract of offensive and defensive lineman Jason Shirley for the 2013 season.

Shirley is a 6'5", 330 pound, lineman out of Fresno State. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2008, playing in three games with four tackles. He also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins. Shirley played in four games with the Panthers in 2011, recording four tackles.

In four seasons at Fresno, Shirley tallied 57 tackles, 23 solo, with five sacks for minus 30 yards, as well as 14 stops for losses of 52 yards.
