DB Vance Cuff and WR Carlos Singleton Back in the Fold

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce the return of two additional players, defensive back Vance Cuff and wide receiver Carlos Singleton, from the 2012 roster as the exclusive period winds down prior to the start of free agency.

“Vance and Carlos joined us late last season when we had some players go down and did a good job stepping up,” said vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch. “There is a role for each of those two and we believe the experience they gained at the end of last season will make them that much better entering the 2013 season.”

Cuff (5-foot-10, 178 lbs., Georgia) joined the team late in the 2012 season after spending time with the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League. He appeared in and started three games at defensive back and recorded 12 tackles, including one for a loss, two pass breakups and an interception. The former Bulldog appeared in 33 games while matriculating at Georgia.

Singleton (6-7, 225, Memphis) joined the Storm for the final game of the 2012 season against Spokane, his first career AFL game. He recorded four catches for 42 yards, including an acrobatic one-handed touchdown grab.
