Michael Huey signs 3 year deal
Scottsdale, Ariz. – The Arizona Rattlers have been assigned the “First Team All Arena Offensive Lineman” Michael Huey to a three year deal.
“Michael Huey had an excellent rookie season. He is exactly what we look for when it comes to being mentally and physically tough. We are happy to have him as part of our foundation moving forward,” said General Manager and Head Coach Kevin Guy.
Huey, a 24 year old Texas native, was a four-year offensive lineman at the University of Texas (UT) where he started in 20 of 47 games. He was a three-time member of UT’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a second-team Academic All-Big 12 selection. He graduated with a degree in physical culture and sport.
Huey stands 6’5 tall and weighs in at 315 pounds. This season will be Huey’s second season with the Rattlers and in the Arena Football League (AFL).
