Utah's Grady named National Guard MVP, Russell Offensive Player of the Year

 CHICAGOUtah Blaze QB TOMMY GRADY has been selected National Guard MVP of the Year and Russell Offensive Player of the Year, the AFL Office announced today.

Grady (6-7, 250, Utah), a First-Team All-Arena selection and recipient of the Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Year award, completed perhaps the best statistical season in AFL history, setting new League records for passing yards (5,870), passing touchdowns (142), pass completions (507) and pass attempts (743). The third-year quarterback also led the AFL in total offensive plays (781) and total offensive yards per game (329.6).

Earlier in AVITAE ArenaBowl XXV Week, Utah Head Coach Ron James was named NET10 Head Coach of the Year, while Blaze Offensive Coordinator Matt Sauk earned NET10 Assistant Coach of the Year honors for the second straight season.
