Gladiators Fall in Orlando, 55-34 to Predators

Turnovers costly in loss
ORLANDO – The Cleveland Gladiators fell to the Orlando Predators 55-34, in front of 14,518 at the Amway Center on Friday night. With the loss, the Gladiators fall to 7-9 while the Predators improve to 4-13.
The Gladiators turned the ball over three times, including two interceptions and one fumble. John Dutton was replaced by Matt Bassuener late in the fourth quarter.
Dutton finished the game 23-of-33 for 232 yards and four touchdowns. His two interceptions brought his season total to 20. Bassuener, in relief duty, finished the game 1-of-3 for 10 yards.
Dominick Goodman led the Gladiators with 10 catches for a team-high 122 yards. He scored once. Carlese Franklin added two receiving touchdowns, while Robert Redd caught one.
For the Predators, Chris Leak finished 30-of-35 for 316 yards and eight touchdowns. He was intercepted once. Jarvis Williams caught a game-high 13 passes for 147 yards and five touchdowns.
The Gladiators travel to Salt Lake City for a matchup with the Utah Blaze next Friday night. Kickoff is set for 8:00 PT ET and will be televised nationally on the NFL Network.
