TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm have added four more players for the 2012 season, Craig Camay, Matt Grothe, Michael Lindsey and Tavious Polo, head coach Dave Ewart announced. There are nine days left in the three-week exclusive team re-signing period then the team may go out and get other free-agents.
“These signings validate the organizational changes we made this past season,” said Ewart. “Players see that we have a plan in place and this is an organization that they want to play for.
“Each of these players were new to the team in 2011 and showed nice production,” added Ewart. “Obviously Mike is a threat to score any time he touches the ball, Matt and Tavious put together a nice body of work in their short time here at the end of last season and this gives us something to build upon.”
Camay (5-foot-11, 190 lbs., Tennessee-Chattanooga) kicked for the Storm in the final game of the regular season. He made 4-of6 PATs and converted a 30-yards field goal in the second quarter.
