A source has confirmed to me that Barry Wagner has verbally agreed to play with Daytona Beach Thunder of the World Indoor Football League as of 3:15pm today.

Wagner was most recently in the training camp of the Tampa Bay Storm at the start of the 2007 season. He was one of the final cuts going into week one of the season.

Barry Wagner is most known for the six consecutive Ironman of the Year awards he won in the Arena Football League between 1992 and 1997. He also won three ArenaBowls between stops with the Orlando Predators and San Jose Sabercats.

The Daytona Beach Thunder host the Augusta Spartans Saturday night at 6:30pm inside the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. will have more details as they become available. Stay tuned!
